The Challenge

Companies with several branches need to know that an employee is actually at the right branch when checking in. Paper sheets and simple check-in apps cannot verify location, and they leave shifts, tasks, leave requests, and reports in separate tools.

Our Solution

DawamTech is one Flutter application that changes its workspace according to the signed-in role. Employees see their branch and shift for the day and check in by GPS, by an authorized Wi-Fi network, or by scanning a QR code. Owners and managers follow attendance, tasks, and requests, and receive alerts such as an employee leaving the branch range or a shift closing without a check-out. The web portal covers employees, branches with a map and geofence radius, shifts, groups, operations, notifications, and a report center with PDF and Excel export. The backend keeps every company's data separate through tenant-aware authorization, and a platform administration layer manages subscription plans and limits. Both mobile and web run in Arabic right-to-left and English left-to-right.

Objectives

Verify attendance through GPS, authorized Wi-Fi networks, and QR codes. Define branch geofences, shifts, grace periods, and employee assignments. Give owners, managers, supervisors, HR, and employees their own mobile workspace. Handle tasks, comments, attachments, permissions, leave requests, and approvals. Send in-app, push, and opt-in email notifications. Export branded PDF and Excel reports. Let the platform operator manage subscription plans, limits, and tenants.

Outcomes

The delivered platform includes a working Android app tested on physical devices, a bilingual web portal, and a deployed backend, covering attendance, branches, shifts, tasks, requests, notifications, and reports.

Challenges

Attendance has to be trustworthy without being frustrating. Combining GPS, Wi-Fi, and QR lets a company choose how strict each branch is, and the app explains to the employee why a check-in was refused. Tenant isolation was enforced on every request so one company can never read another's records.

JK Software Solutions delivered the whole product: the Flutter app, the Next.js portal, the FastAPI and PostgreSQL backend, push and email notifications, report generation, and the server deployment.
